The Insiders campaign of Emmi Caffé Latte, and the role that AMAB played

Studies have shown that we try as much as possible to avoid disturbing TV advertising or other ‘spam’, both online, in our mail and on the street. By contrast, we enormously appreciate recommendations from friends and acquaintances: Namely good mouth-to-mouth publicity! The Insiders is a communications office that wishes to offer an alternative. Their platform helps people find exciting products, for the purposes of trying them out and sharing.

This is a new way of helping to make good products really well-known, because one will only mention them if one is really convinced. Via The Insiders, we reach people who are really interested in their products, who want to give an honest opinion of what they find good about them and what can still be improved.

AMAB regularly provides The Insiders with support in their national campaigns. Below you will find a short description of The Insiders’ approach and what exactly AMAB did for their Emmi Caffé Latte campaign. And at the bottom of the page, we will make a step-by-step presentation of the process in several photos.

How does the system of The Insiders work?

1. Registration – the participant determines himself in which campaign he/she wishes to participate.
2. Opinion of the participant – he/she tries out the product and forms an honest opinion.
3. Talking about it – the participant shares his opinion with others, and he keeps The Insiders informed about their reactions.

What exactly did AMAB do in handling this campaign?

AMAB was responsible from A to Z for the processing of these packages, which consisted of two phases:

Preparation:

The printer submitted various discount coupons to us. We counted these out and bundled them per type, and in the required quantity.
The Emmi Caffé Latte mugs were filled by us in advance with the discount coupons.

The procedure:

STEP 1: The outer carton, which had been delivered as a flat cardboard sheet, had to be folded and filled with:
1. Bundle no. 1 of discount coupons: 6 x 100 % discount coupons + 2 x 50 % discount coupons
2. Bundle no. 2 of discount coupons: 10 x 100 % discount coupons
3. Bundle no. 3 of discount coupons: 15 x 50 % discount coupons
• 20 x empty Emmi Caffé Latte mugs
• 20 x covers for the Emmi Caffé Latte mugs
• 1 x campaign guidelines
• 1 x Emmi Caffé Latte shopper
STEP 2: Closing the outer carton with tape
STEP 3: Gluing a “Handle with care/fragile” sticker on the outer carton
STEP 4: Printing and gluing the Kiala dispatch ticket (label is printed by AMAB in Asse, on the basis of supplied PDF files)
STEP 5: Palletising + protecting with stretch foil
